Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pulse ("Pulse", "we", "us"), a Shopify-connected analytics and forecasting service. By installing Pulse or connecting your Shopify store, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Pulse.
2. The Service
Pulse connects to your Shopify store via Shopify's OAuth and Admin API to read store data (orders, refunds, inventory, discounts, and related records) and generates a daily "Morning Brief": business diagnostics, forecasts, and recommendations. Pulse does not place orders, issue refunds, modify inventory, or take any other action in your store on your behalf.
3. Accounts and Access
Your Pulse account is tied to your Shopify store via OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for all activity that occurs through your connected store. You may disconnect Pulse from your Shopify store at any time from your Shopify admin.
4. AI-Generated Content and Forecasts
Pulse's briefs, narratives, forecasts, and recommendations are generated by statistical models and, where available, machine-learning forecasting models, and may incorporate AI-written narrative text. They are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, tax, or business advice. Forecasts are estimates based on historical data and may be inaccurate. You are solely responsible for any business decisions you make based on Pulse's output.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Pulse offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and, unless stated otherwise, auto-renew until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change our pricing or plan features on reasonable notice; changes will not apply retroactively to a billing period already paid for.
6. Data Use
Our collection and use of data from your Shopify store is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your store or customer data.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Pulse, including by attempting to access another merchant's data, reverse-engineering the service, or using it in a way that violates Shopify's own terms of service or API license agreement.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Pulse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or profits, arising from your use of or reliance on Pulse.
9. Termination
You may stop using Pulse at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Pulse after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
